The Mountain Area Ball League provides children in Wharton, Stewart, Henry Clay, and surrounding townships the opportunity to participate in sports. The League is a nonprofit organization, with three divisions -- Baseball/Softball, Soccer, and Basketball. Each division has separate officers, by-laws and funding. Baseball/Softball and soccer games are played at the Wharton Township park. Basketball games are played at the Mountain Area Community Center. |

MABL Baseball/Softball
is open for all players age five and above. The season is May through
July. Opening games are played the on Sunday May 4, 2003. Throughout the season games are on weeknights. |
| MBA Mountain Basketball Association is open for all players age five and above. The season is in January and February. | |
MABL
Soccer is open for all players age five and above. The season is
in September and October. Games are played on weekends for 6 weeks. Each
team plays eight or nine games.
